A little window into my mind. I aim for honesty in all my songs, but "Miss Universe" is truly a stream of consciousness look into my thoughts and feelings.

A big thanks to my buddy Ross Falzone who wrote this song with me. My favorite songs are often ones I write with friends, and this one is a

"Miss Universe" is the first single off my upcoming EP "Volume One (What Have I to Learn)." Every part of this song feels like an introduction; like the first scene in a biopic. That's why I wanted "Miss Universe" to be the first glimpse at the new songs and also why I named the EP after a lyrics from the song.

After the last EP I took a little break to figure out what's next. A brief stint of seclusion and manual labor in rural Alaska helped me realized that I had two different releases taking shape in my mind. Like a semicolon separating a full sentence, these two EPs would stand on their own but also combine into a larger whole. "Volume One (What Have I to Learn)" is the first EP of two. So keep your eyes and ears out in the coming months, cause Volume One is coming your way September 6th!
